Lou Noble is an experienced singer - songwriter, guitarist and Music teacher based in Brighton, UK.
Her 1st songs were written during her teenage years, beginning to play the guitar at age 11.
Taught by some of the finest teachers in the UK music industry, Pete Langman of The Guitar Magazine played guitar at Lou's 1st gig in Edmonton, North London in 1991. and acted as a mentor to Lou during those early days. Top Uk Session -singer and vocalist with Sad Cafe, Sue Wilson-Quin was a vocal coach to Lou for 10 years.
She has performed for over 30 years at clubs, private parties, festivals, weddings, clubs, around firesides, at protest marches in this country and across the world, performing with the London Community Gospel Choir at the Royal Albert Hall in 2002.
Influenced by some of the great jazz vocalists of the 20, 30s, 40s and 50s, Lou Noble has been likened to Ani Di Franco, Kate Bush and Michelle Shocked and indeed Billie Holiday.
The songs are lyrically evocative and potent with truths of our times, covering many of the issues we experience within relationships, humanity, society and they frequently refer to and celebrate our connection with nature.
